We have enjoyed a lovely week in Tawny Nook Cottage! A great welcome hamper upon our arrival and a super comfortable cottage, best beds we have ever slept in! We enjoyed visiting Cragside House & Gardens, Alnwick Castle and evening walks along golden sandy beaches at Alnmouth and Hauxley. So peaceful and quiet we didn't want to leave.

A lovely cottage with everything you need and more, great views of deer from the lounge window. Cragside House is on the doorstep and we enjoyed some great walks around the estate. Amble Harbour - for its Sunday Market and enjoyed some great fresh seafood at The Old Boat House.

"We have enjoyed our first visit to Northumberland. The cottage is fantastic, and in such a peaceful location. Nice to have no street lights or noisy neighbours.
We have visited Dunstanbourgh Castle via the coastal path from Craster. Alnwick Gardens, Holy Island, Druridge Bay ( wonderful beach) Farne Islands - although the Puffins had gone but lots of Seals. Rothbury is nice and we had a drive through part of the National Park. We recommend this cottage to our family and friends."
