Welcome to our very first blog post on our brand new website, we are really pleased with the new site and hope you enjoy having a look around it! Our cottages Merryview & Tawny Nook nestle into a Northumberland hillside and looking out today with some warm spring sunshine the countryside is looking very green, already the Swallows have arrived back and can be seen flying around chattering as they go. Heard the first Cuckoo last week which is always a delight, the Apple Blossom is just about to pop and golden daffodils are dancing in the breeze, lambs running and playing in the fields under the watchful eye of thier mothers. Spring has definitely Sprung!
